LATENT FISSURES in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Berlin Wall’s Fall, a collection of documentary snapshots taken in Berlin in 1989 by the amazing photographer Jorge Andrés Castillo, and additional photos taken in 1983 on the other side of the wall by Victor Rodriguez Castillo, Curated By Marcelo Llobell and Carlos Benmamán, as we highlight REUNIFICATION and FREEDOM.
The opening was accompanied by the presence and graceful words of the Consul General of the Democratic republic of Germany, Mr. Christofer Burger, The Executive Director of the Miami-Dade International Trade Consortium, Mr. Gerrard Phillipeaux, and Michael Fresco Jr, the District Director (DIST 12) for the office of the Hon.Commissioner Juan Carlos Bermudez of the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners, who kindly honored the museum and photographer Jorge Castillo with a Commendation for the preservation of culture and history with this exhibition.
